I provide individual therapy in a virtual setting, via Zoom. Due to working currently with clients in a virtual setting, I work with clients aged 10 and older. I also work with caregivers as part of the therapeutic process on an ongoing basis for clients who are under the age of 18. It is important for families to be involved in their child’s care as we navigate the therapeutic process.
My therapeutic approach is humanistic by nature, meaning your lived experiences and history will guide the work we do together. I work collaboratively with all who sit across from me in my office. I primarily pull from psychodynamic, client-centered, and strength-based theories to inform my work with you. I also incorporate gender-affirming approaches for LGBTQIA+ clients seeking gender-affirming care. Because I work from a Humanistic framework, I work with clients at least once or twice a week.
What this means for you is that we will be examining your family-of-origin experiences, how your environmental and socio-political experiences impact you, and your social and emotional development over time. In our therapeutic journey together, it is our job to examine the meaning those experiences have on your life and your development as a person so that you may live more freely and authentically in the present moment.
